Welcome to our Testing & Evaluation FAQ.
At Rapoport Psychological Services, we understand that the testing process can feel overwhelming - especially when you’re seeking clear answers about ADHD, learning challenges, or documentation for professional exams. This page is designed to walk you through what to expect, including the types of evaluations we offer, how long they take, and the investment involved.
Our goal is transparency: to help you make informed decisions about your care and understand exactly how our evaluations can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

We provide several types of psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, customized to your needs and goals. Our most common assessments include:
• ADHD & Executive Functioning Screenings
• Learning Disability & Academic Achievement Evaluations
• Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations for professional exam accommodations (LSAT, MCAT, law and graduate school)
• Re-evaluations and Updated Documentation for previously diagnosed conditions -
Our evaluation fees are tiered based on the depth and purpose of testing. We’ll determine which level best fits your needs during the initial consultation.

We are out of network providers for all insurance companies.
Like many psychotherapy practices, we are considered an “out of network" provider and will happily assist you in understanding your deductibles and benefits. Many insurance plans offer “out of network” insurance coverage to help offset the cost of therapy.
Out-of-network benefits cover psychotherapy with a professional you choose. Most plans require the patient to pay a deductible, and then reimburse a percentage of the fee after that. We’re happy to provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company, and you can receive full or partial reimbursement for therapy.
However, many clients receive partial reimbursement for neuropsychological testing through their insurance company. We provide detailed superbills with all required CPT codes and documentation for reimbursement.
Please view our Insurance Out-of-Network Guide for psychotherapy services here and our Guide for Reimbursement for Testing Services here.
We accept payment via Zelle or Credit Card.
-
We also offer re-evaluation services for clients who already have a diagnosis but need updated testing for ADA or exam board requirements (e.g., LSAC, NBME, or AAMC). These are billed individually based on what’s required, and we’ll determine the appropriate scope at your consultation.
-
Comprehensive evaluations require significantly more time, materials, and clinical interpretation. Reports for LSAT, MCAT, and professional school accommodations must meet detailed standards and often include:
• 6–8 hours of direct testing
• 6–10 hours of scoring, analysis, and interpretation
• Review of academic and medical records
• A narrative report of 20+ pages
• Coordination with educational or testing boards if needed -
1. Schedule a consultation to discuss your needs and determine which level of evaluation is appropriate.
2. Complete intake paperwork and schedule testing sessions.
3. Attend your testing sessions (typically 1–2 days).
4. Receive your report and feedback meeting, with a clear plan for next steps.
